Private Classes

What are private classes?

  • One to one, or small group sessions (60 to 90 minutes) tailored to address your specific needs within the framework of the Ashtanga system.

Why should I take private classes?

  • You’re new to yoga and would like a comprehensive one to one introduction.

  • You have chronic pain or an injury and would like to explore ways to work with the injury, or address a specific health concern in order to promote healing.

  • You’re interested in developing a safe, effective home practice. Ashtanga is traditionally practiced “mysore style’ which means self practice in a group environment. However, some people prefer to practice at home in their own space.

  • Private classes can give your home practice a kick start or provide you with some motivation or fine tuning if you already have a home practice.

  • Your schedule makes it difficult to get to class. Everyone’s schedule is different and it’s not always possible to find a class to suit your needs. Especially if you have a busy job or perhaps are a new mum. Private yoga offers the flexibility to have classes at a time that suits you without the need for a babysitter!
